Fully mature, this dark ruby-colored wine has a trace of orange/brown at the edge. It is a full-bodied, firm, austere wine with a dry, slightly astringent finish. However, I would have liked to have found more fruit. It should last another 8-10 years. Anticipated maturity: Now-1999. Last tasted, 10/89.
