Tasted blind at Farr Vintners' horizontal, the 2006 Meyney has a light, orange peel and strawberry-scented bouquet with strong rose petal scents emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannin, firm in the mouth with a blocky, rather tough finish that I can only envisage becoming drier with time. In other words - drink this soon. Tasted April 2016.
