The 2009 Reserva was tasted just a few weeks after bottling, yet it showed quite nicely. Powerful and deep, with good acidity and rather delicious fruit, it seems to have considerable potential and along with the 2008 should become the best of the Reservas yet bottled here. Drink 2013-2021. The Reserva vertical was poured at the winery in Alentejo. Admittedly, this was a somewhat disappointing vertical as the promise shown by the earlier vintages was not fulfilled. For the older wines, it raised more questions than answers.
