The single vineyard 1995 Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Gli Angeli exhibits a dark ruby color as well as a complex but reticent nose of new saddle leather, dried cherries, and red currants. It is dense and concentrated with moderately high tannin, an austere personality, and excellent depth and purity. Give it 1-2 years of cellaring and drink it over the following 12 years.
