The barrel-fermented 2006 Finca el Otero is sourced from a single old-vine Tempranillo vineyard. It sports aromas of toasty oak, pencil lead, scorched earth, and blackberry. This leads to a dense layered, concentrated wine with serious depth, savory flavors, and a lengthy finish. It has 5-7 years of aging potential and a drinking window that should extend from 2015 to 2026.
