The 2011 El Anejón is sourced from a specific plot of vines on small terraces, and is mostly Tempranillo but there are always small percentages of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The nose mixes ripe berries, flowers and plenty of spices, smoke and oak-related aromas with some earthy hints. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, a juicy red with big structure and chalky tannins that stick to your teeth. A powerful, concentrated Ribera. They produced around 30,000 bottles of this.
