Robert Drouhin allowed me to re-taste this wine that I had originally reviewed in Issue #111. It maintains its 85 point rating. Surprisingly, it was more advanced aromatically and gustatorily than I would have believed possible, possessing some brick to its otherwise light-to-medium ruby color and a mature nose of floral and candied red fruits intermingled with mature Pinot aromas of caramelized leaves.
