A beautiful wine that excels for its classy, balanced and structured feel, it gives up plenty of plum, black cherry, licorice, dusty soil and dark chocolate-like aromas and flavors that flow perfectly to a medium to full-bodied, elegant and layered feel on the palate. Seeing 21 months in 65% new French oak, it’s a smoking Washington State Bordeaux blend about 15 years or more of longevity. I loved these latest releases from Spring Valley vineyard. They all show classic, elegant and balanced profiles that will evolve gracefully.
