The 1995 Rosado (60% Garnacha, 30% Tempranillo, and 10% Viura) is best identified with the Tavel style of dry, smoky, full-bodied rose made in France's southern Rhone Valley. The wine's light pink/orange/salmon color is accompanied by a forceful, smoky, cherry/strawberry-scented nose, and a big-boned, muscular, dry, excellent rose that is meant to be drunk with food, rather than as aperitif. It will last for several years. This is one of Spain's most traditionally run wineries.
