This wine, a blend of 50% Grenache, 40% Syrah, and 10% Mourvedre, is a seriously endowed, rich, concentrated dry red wine. The nose offers copious quantities of jammy black currant fruit intermixed with leather, smoke, and spice. Medium-bodied and nicely-structured, with a layered texture, and a rich, moderately long finish, this wine should age nicely for 4-6 years.
