The Cascina Chicco 2010 Barolo Rocche di Castelletto shows integrity and harmony (with simple brush strokes). The wine still offers bright fruit and spice that are nicely contrasted against one another. There are tertiary aromas of tar, licorice and smoked meat, but this Barolo feels rounder and fruitier than most. In the mouth, it offers solid tannins and good structure.
