The 2013 Barolo Rocche di Castelletto is a wine with classic lines from a classic vintage. It opens to a light garnet-ruby color and delivers a thin, crisp consistency in terms of mouthfeel. The aromas are delicate and balanced with rose hip, dried lavender, campfire ash, tobacco and leather. This wine ages in large oak casks for 30 months.

Bridled with sweet cherry, berry, floral and licorice flavors, this red picks up a saline note as it evolves and unfolds to the finish. The elegant profile fits the delicate flavors and plays out on the long aftertaste.
