Aged 12 months in 500 liter demi-muids, this Crozes-Hermitage exhibits the lavish richness and extravagant wealth possessed by the top 2003s in the Northern Rhone. Its dense ruby/purple color is accompanied by aromas of licorice, tapenade, blackberries, and cherries. Low in acidity, but full-bodied as well as superbly concentrated and pure, it will provide plenty of pleasure over the next 7-10 years.
