The 2004 Callejo Crianza comes from 100% Tempranillo aged 12 months in French and American oak. The wine is a saturated purple color and exhibits spice, soy, and nearly exotic wild blue and black berry aromas and flavors. The wine has a vibrant feel on the palate and there is plenty of ripe tannin to support several more years of aging. Drink this heady wine over the next 10 years.
