Wilder Sangiovese notes run through the 2009 Rosso di Montepulciano. Dark fruit, leather and earthiness come together nicely in this medium-bodied, somewhat rustic offering. The estate’s Rosso di Montepulciano is 80% Sangiovese and 20% Canaiolo Nero that spent three months in cask. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2014.
