From an area known for extraordinarily high yields (18-20 tons per acre), this 1999 Shiraz was cropped at 6-7 tons per acre. It was designed by importer Dan Philips to be a flavorful, full-bodied, fruit-driven Shiraz. Moreover, it is available in abundant quantities (5,500 cases). It offers a dark purple color, surprising volume and intensity, abundant quantities of cassis fruit, no oak, and plenty of fat and glycerin in its velvety-textured, mouth-filling, friendly style. Drink it over the next 5-6 years. A great value! Importer: Dan Philips, The Grateful Palate, Oxnard, CA; tel. (805) 278-9095
