One of two Riservas with a gold label, the Parusso 2014 Barolo Riserva Bussia Vigna Rocche was born in a controversial vintage that proved quite challenging during the growing season but that ultimately delivered wines that exceeded expectations. This bottle shows a careful dosing of dried fruit and currant with smoky end notes of spice, licorice and campfire ash. The tannins are nicely integrated, and the mouthfeel is the prettiest part of the experience. The wine's garnet appearance is intact. Production is limited to 1,160 bottles.
