A bit hot, sweet and soft for my taste, this Pinot seems deficient in acidity, perhaps the result of the hot vintage. It has pie filling flavors of black cherries, black raspberries, cola and pomegranates. Doesn’t seem like an ager, but it’s pretty fancy now with a good steak. ——S.H.(3/1/2007)—— 87
