Daniel Brusset, better-known for his spectacular Gigondas called Les Hautes de Montmirail, has included 20% of his Gigondas aged in new French oak in this blend of Cairanne. The result is a densely colored wine with a super nose of black-raspberries, spicy pepper, and truffles. Deep, rich, medium-bodied flavors are loaded with fruit. The finish is all velvet and silk. Drink it over the next 2-3 years. Importer: Robert Kacher Selections, Washington, DC.
