The 2014 Pouilly-Vinzelles comes from the Chateau de Vinzelles, although Drouhin is not allowed to state this on the label. Part is made at the chateau and the rest in Beaune due to lack of space. For me, this does not quite have the detail of the Macon-Bussières -- much more stony and austere. The palate has a pleasant saltiness on the entry, well balanced with modest weight, perhaps just missing a little focus towards the finish. Not bad, though I would opt for the 2014 Macon-Bussières, if I had the choice.
