As the numerical ratings suggest, the bevy of 1992s and 1993s I tasted from Delas represents a mediocre group of wines. All the red wines from both 1993 and 1992 are diluted, with the 1993s frightfully tannic and astringent and the 1992s high in acidity with a more vegetal character. The Cote Roties are extremely disappointing, as are the top cuvees of Hermitage, the 1992 and 1993 Marquise de la Tourette.
