Undoubtedly the finest red wine I have tasted from Tuscany's San Gimignano region, the super-concentrated 1998 Teodoro (a blend of barrique-aged Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, and Merlot) boasts a deep, thick, black/purple color, chewy, full-bodied, opulently-textured flavors, admirable purity, and a long, velvety, seamless finish. Drink this loaded 1998 over the next 7-8 years to take advantage of its exuberant youth.
