Medium to deep-garnet colored, the 2010 Cabernet Merlot is a blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Merlot and Cabernet Franc that is beautifully perfumed by evolving blackberry and kirsch aromas amid an undercurrent of potpourri, sandalwood and cinnamon stick. Medium-bodied, the elegantly weighted palate offers a great intensity of mature berry and spice-box flavors with velvety tannins and just enough acid to lend freshness through the long finish.
