The 2006 Gigondas Tradition Les Grands Montmirail exhibits a deep ruby/purple color as well as a sweet nose of pepper, garrigue, black raspberries, and cherries, a full-bodied mouthfeel, sweet, light to moderate tannin, and a robust finish. It should drink well for 8-10 years. One of the more popular estates in Gigondas, Domaine Brusset has been represented in the United States for decades. They offer two cuvees. Brusset's two 2006s are among the finest wines of the vintage in Gigondas.Importers: Simon N Cellars, Charlottesville, VA; tel.
