The 1989 and 1990 vintages of Gigi Rosso's Barolo are made in an up-front, soft, fleshy, medium to full-bodied style with excellent purity, fine ripeness, and a chewy, seductive fruitiness. Although they are not destined to be long-lived, for drinking in their first 7-8 years of life these are attractive wines. No known American importer.
