Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2010 Moppa Shiraz is a little reduced to begin, giving way to expressive notes of black pepper, earth, black cherry and blueberry with a fragrant whiff of lavender. Full bodied with plenty of juicy berry flavors on the palate, it has a medium to firm level of grainy tannins, lively acid and a long finish. Drink it now to 2019. No known US importer.
