Containing a “trace” of Viognier and Petit Verdot, the 2011 Moppa Shiraz has a deep garnet-purple color with aromas of crushed red currants, black cherries and dried Provencal herbs with overtones of black pepper, tree bark and black truffles. Medium-bodied with a taut fruit profile, a firm, chewy structure of tannins and vibrant acid, it finishes both long and earthy. Drink it now to 2018.
