The 2014 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is a proud and forthcoming wine. This was a difficult vintage that saw reduced yields. Production of this wine was down by 30% to 170,000 bottles made. The remaining fruit went to the Rosso di Montepulciano. This wine is fresh and tight with red berry flavors followed by spice and some dried garden herbs.

This red has a silky side in the beginning, then turns sinewy and tannic by the finish. Intense and packed with black cherry, blackberry, light toast, spice and tobacco flavors, ending with a mineral kick.
