The second wine of the grands crus is a top choice for lovers of dry and drinkable Rieslings. The 2012 Riesling Trocken Eierfels offers aromatic, almost tropical fruit flavors on the nose and is lovely firm, racy and mineral on the palate. There are already some nutty tones in the finish which is very stimulating and quite persistent and makes this a top choice for food, especially salmon or other fish dishes.
