Perret's 1995 Condrieu Coteau du Cheri should be one of the top two or three wines of the appellation in this tricky vintage for Condrieu. It exhibits crisp acidity, a complex, leesy, creamy-textured ripeness, medium to full body, great elegance, and delicious peach/apricot fruit. For all its power and intensity, the wine possesses considerable fruit, texture, and wonderful delineation as a result of excellent acidity. Perret is one of Condrieu's most talented winemakers.
