I saw this wine three separate times with consistent tasting notes. I suppose everyone in the wine trade is looking at every St.-Estephe in a vintage such as 2003, recognizing the consistencies in this appellation. The deep ruby/purple-colored 2003 Serlihan exhibits good ripeness, but a monolithic, straightforward character. Its low acidity and excellent fruit suggest it will be drinkable upon release, and over the following 7-8 years.
