The 2001 Chardonnay Allen Vineyard (14.8% alcohol) exhibits gorgeous aromas of white peaches, honeysuckle, quince, and citrus oil. As it sits in the glass notions of flowers also emerge. Medium to full-bodied and heady, with crisp underlying acidity, this is a brilliant white to enjoy over the next 5-7 years.
