El Molino continues to produce impressive wines with excellent richness, texture, and complexity. Their 1990 Chardonnay, which could easily be mistaken for a top Meursault or Chassagne-Montrachet, displays a smoky, nutty, buttered popcorn nose, rich, fleshy, well-balanced flavors that possess enough acidity for focus, and a heady, toasty, long finish. Drink it over the next 1-2 years.
