The 2010 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Ca' del Pipa Colle Cristi is a balanced and steady wine made from 75% Corvina, 20% Rondinella and 5% Molinara (aged in French barrique). It delivers good fruit intensity, but the wine never goes over the top in terms of extraction like some of its Amarone peers. Supple tannins help fuel a long, polished mouthfeel.

Plush tannins provide a firm backbone in this subtle red, layered with ripe flavors of mulberry, medicinal herb, smoke and chocolate shavings. Medium-bodied and juicy, with a moderate finish.
