Produced from a parcel located in the lower sector of its vineyard, near the Pommard road, the 2003 Volnay Fremiets (red) is a big success. Its waxy red cherry-scented nose leads to a medium-bodied character with superb amplitude, grace, and length. This satiny wine is suave, feminine, and elegant. Packed with sweet red and black cherries, it exhibits excellent structure and a lengthy finish. Projected maturity: 2006-2016.
