Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2009 Bremerview Shiraz is a little reduced to begin with rubbery / tarry notes giving way to scents of earth, warm blackberry and cassis plus hints of black pepper and hung meat. Crisp, full bodied and generous in the mouth, it has a medium level of grainy tannins and a long earthy finish. Drinking now, it should remain good to 2016+.
