The 2007 Quintessence Blanc (80% Roussanne and 20% Clairette) mimics the famed Chateau Beaucastel Chateauneuf du Pape blanc. Aged completely in tank and foudre, and made from tiny yields of 18-25 hectoliters per hectare, this outstanding white wine exhibits flowery notes of honeysuckle, orange marmalade, nectarines, and apricots. This exotic, aromatic, full-bodied wine needs to be consumed during its first several years of life.
One of the Cotes du Ventoux’s top estates, Chateau Pesquie has released a number of top-notch, value-priced wines into the American market.
