While Jadot’s Beaune Greves was strangely tight and compressed, its 2002 Beaune Bressandes is the finest white I have tasted from this village at this famed negociant house. Fresh minerals laced with spices, pears, and limes are found in this medium-bodied, expansive effort’s personality. Plush, highly expressive, and concentrated, it coats the palate with smoky minerals, bacon, poached pears, and red delicious apples. Drink it over the next 6-7 years.
