The 2013 Beaune 1er Cru Bressandes, under the Domaien Gagey label, has an intriguing bouquet in the making with scents of candle wax infusing the caramelized pear and greengage scents. The palate is very well balanced with a fine line of acidity. Crisp and quite linear, this remains straitlaced right to the finish, with just a touch of bell pepper lending spice on the aftertaste. Fine.
