The 2016 Beaune 1er Cru Bressandes Blanc (Domaine Gagey) is showing very well, unfurling in the glass with aromas of dried white flowers, yellow orchard fruit, confit lemon and toasted nuts. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, ample and gourmand, with a textural attack, tangy acids and a long, saline finish. It's a definite success that will offer a broad drinking window.
