More masculine, with more tannin and structure, but slightly deeper as well, is the 2009 Cairanne Les Travers. This is always one of the specialities of Brusset, and this vintage exhibits lots of pepper, garrigue, and tapenade, with red currants and black fruits. It probably needs 6-12 months of bottle-age then should drink well for 5-6 years. (Not yet released)This large domaine has vineyards throughout Gigondas and some of the neighboring villages.Importers: Simon N Cellars, Charlottesville, VA; tel.
