The 2001 Conde de la Salceda Reserva, made from a blend of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Graciano, was aged for 18 months in French barriques. It is dark ruby/purple in color with black fruit, floral, and spice notes on the nose. This modern-styled Rioja is medium-bodied with sweet tannin, has excellent ripeness and purity, and a long finish.
