A pretty blend of 65% Grenache, 25% Mourvedre, and 10% Shiraz, the dark ruby/purple-tinged 2004 Joshua is a Rhone-like offering displaying hints of olives, roasted meats, Provencal herbs, pepper, cherries, and black currants. Medium to full-bodied and spicy, with savory, fleshy flavors as well as a heady finish, it is best drunk over the next 3-4 years.
