An unoaked, Grenache, Mataro, Shiraz blend, 2009 Joshua presents a medium garnet-purple color and lifted cherry and red berry aromas with some dried Mediterranean herbs and forest floor. Full bodied with a medium level of chewy tannins, it has a good amount of refreshing acidity and primary berry fruit lingering long into the finish. Drinking now, it should remain fresh to 2015.
