Brioche, orange blossom, lemon zest, and honeyed fruit are present in the 2003 Chardonnay Estate from Jordan’s Sonoma Coast vineyard. While still a medium-bodied, elegant effort, it cuts a broad, intense feel across the palate. It should drink well for 2-3 years. The Chardonnay is put through full malolactic fermentation, not racked as it ages on its lees until bottling, and is fermented with indigenous yeast from the vineyard – the classic terroiriste winemaking signature.
