The 2012 Chardonnay Reserve is a blend of three sites, whole-cluster pressed, and undergoes a natural yeast with weekly lees stirring in barrel for 18 months, mainly in puncheons of which 25% are new. It has a generous, lightly honeyed bouquet with touches of peach and nectarine, pralines developing with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied, nicely balanced with pretty peach and kumquat notes developing in the glass. Good depth here with fine delineation on the finish, drink this flavor-stacked Chardonnay over the next 3 or 4 years.
