The 2008 Pinot Noir Olson Estate Vineyard was a late vintage, picked around 27 or 28 October, ripening under cooler temperatures. It has a more complex and harmonious bouquet than either the 2009 or 2010: well-defined black cherries, crushed strawberry, undergrowth and floral notes. The palate is fresh and vibrant with crisp acidity, bright cherry fruit with good tension and plenty of vigor on the tart finish. This should continue to age well for another decade - an excellent Pinot Noir from Torii Mor.
