Here's a finely textured and elegant wine from Barolo's most celebrated single vineyard. The 2011 Barolo Cannubi offers big intensity and soft layers with dried cherry, blackberry, spice, cola and grilled herb. The Cannubi cru, known for its delicate nuances, shows nicely in this warm vintage. Because it is among the first panels to come to ripeness, this level of quality is not easy to achieve.
