The 2003 Chateauneuf du Pape exhibits a dark ruby color, medium to full body, and tasty, deep, refined cherry and black currant flavors. Well-balanced, ripe, and polite/restrained for such a young Chateauneuf with good purity, balance, and overall harmony, it should hit its peak in 1-2 years, and last for a decade.
