It's great to see the investment and hard work at Maucoil paying off. The 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape repeats the success of the 2015, offering complex red fruit and herbal notes. Strawberry, raspberry, thyme and lavender aromas and flavors are borne by a full-bodied wine that remains silky and lush from start to finish. The blend this year is 60% Grenache, 15% each Mourvèdre and Syrah and 10% Cinsault.
